STEP 1: Current Machine Guarding Survey
IES conducts walk through safety audit for whole plants machinery and inspect current situation of machine guarding and safety implementation in each machine. By having outside evaluators who haven’t seen the operation day in and day out, offer “fresh experienced eyes” and typically are more critical of a company’s processes. The surveyors spend five to 10 minutes per machine evaluating the status of machine safety implementation
STEP 2 The Machine Guarding risk assessment
In second step, IES team do detail study of each machine for in terms of machinery safety , Interact with the all the stockholder of that machinery , Safety related control systems are studied and tested of that machinery , All safe guard which is placed in machine are evaluated and tested as accordingly relevant standards of that particular machinery . All the short comings of machinery in terms of safety are documented in the report, Suggestion and remarks are given where deficiencies are found in the machine.
STEP 3: Machine Guarding Design and Engineering
In third step , We do prepare drawings for guards , selection of safety devices and interlocking switches , safety related control circuit designs. Those are done with the consultation with customer, BOM is prepared for each machine with details spec and drawings where applicable. cost estimation is derived for project implementation.
STEP 4 : Implementation and Validation of Safety Measures
In fourth step , We do manufacture all the mechanical guards which are designed in step 3 , source all the required safety devices and ancillary items of electric nature. Install and commissioning of all electrical and mechanical items on the machine. Final Report preparation and FAT tests of safety functions. Operators and plant personnel training on site .
